Registered in Karnataka, the Major Akshay Girish Memorial Trust Aims to Promote Patriotism and Service to our Motherland.
The Trust is inspired by Major Akshay’s passionate and courageous legacy to uphold the honour and safety of India and its people.
We move ahead on the path of motivating and assisting youth, particularly students in schools, colleges and universities, to strive for a career in the defence services and allied services. The aim is to attract and promote young talent which has the spirit to do good for our country.
The Trust also collaborates with other organizations to emphasize shared objectives to strengthen patriotism and contribute to nation building.

What We Do
The Major Akshay Girish Memorial Trust with committed team of volunteers organizes and facilitates the following:
Seminars and Workshops
in colleges and universities to motivate students
towards honorable and satisfying careers in Defence and allied services;
School Skills Program
to motivate adolescent children to be inspired by real life
heroes in diverse fields while enhancing skills needed to become capable,
caring, fit and motivated citizens;
Commemoration of Events
To celebrate the valour and victories of our defense forces, to recognize and felicitate our real heroes and to strengthen patriotism.
Solidarity with Braveheart Families
Through networking, home visits and need based support for a life of dignity after their loved ones have made the supreme sacrifice for motherland;
Other Activities
Education Support, Scholarships and Achievement Awards to selected student achievers who strive to join Defence Forces. Also network for larger advocacy and national causes.
